Just as a heads up, I saved my saved games, and then ran the mod with Titan Quest - when I went to my stash, I realized that the mod does erase my entire stash/share/relics, along with half of what I am carrying. This sucks!! So PLEASE be careful with installing mods, this one will seriously screw you over. That said, do you know of any sites - not Nexus.com - that offer mods that are actually safe to use?
Bethesda.net is trash. Nexus.com is and will always be the best place to get mods. You should always use a Mod Manager to keep track of the mods you download. I recommend Mod Organizer 2.

There is a mod on nexus.com called "Skip the Fade". You're going to want it.
The only "side quests" in the game are things you pull off of the Chantry boards, or get from the Mage Collective or >!people around town when you get to Denerim, etc. !<Otherwise, the four hubs + finale ARE the game.
