I don't consider myself a developer yet but I wanted to learn programming and was always on my phone. So I start to learn java for 2 or 3 months then I downloaded Android Studio and try to do some apps. My objective was to do an app for my job with the location of some important places. It was all new to me, I learned with a french website and tried by myself to do stuff. I choose an obective and stick to it. I learned slowly and in one year of self-taught I did some apps, a bainquiz, reddit!, a beer quiz in french, etc nothing big. I went back to school (at 30 years old) for programming class, we learn Java again and I can see I didn't understand a lot of concept of Java when I learned by myself. Still a long way to go. Now I learn python and did some bots for the Bitcoin market for myself. I'm happy to go to school again even if it's difficult to work at the same time.
it's a concept that's been done a lot, (i.e. Midnight Delivery, which i've been playing recently and Bloxorz, the flash game that was popular a few years ago) but with well-designed levels and maybe an interesting graphical style, even the oldest style of puzzles can be interesting and get a lot of downloads
I have this one game I enjoyed on my first Android device - the LG Optimus with a whopping 512MB of RAM running Android FroYo (v2.2). I just found it on the play store recently & it claims it was updated in December, but it doesn't deal with the screen size properly so some shots just aren't possible, leaving me stuck on a level I can't get past. Game specs claim it'll run on Android 1.1+.
If I can direct you to the classic classics, Sudoku and a Rubik's Cube are like the bread and butter of logic games.
But don't buy an actual Rubik's Cube. Rubik's brand is actually kind of shit. Like the everyman's brand, they're only good for learning, and they tend to stick.
On Android I use Andoku 2. It has 5 game modes and 8 difficulties, with 150 boards for each difficulty and mode. ~6000 frigging puzzles. Has configurable ads, you can pick banner during puzzle or fullscreen interstial ads.
Edit: it's also free
I love puzzles and riddles and I'm always on my computer, so I learned how to program and I made a android app: Enigma or the free version but it didn't work so well, so now I'm doing some Webdesign and it works way better :)
Have you tried Star Balls? Its like mini-golf and pinball had a baby... Music is great too
If that's too expensive, the same studio made another great game...Roboshark Rampage that was pretty awesome. Its a Tron like shark that destroys fish.

Project title - Star Balls by Bolder Games Promotion Type - New App on Google Play Promoter's name and role -The Game Hype / Blog Affiliate Links to the project - Game Hype Article - Google Play Store Link I found out about this game personally from Reddit a few days ago. I found it interesting enough to purchase for the $1.99 the dev is asking. It's very well made - the controls work great, the graphics are nice on Andoid without lag, and, overall, the gameplay is pretty fun! It's a sci-fi play on golf where you aim to put your robot into the hole. There's upgrades which aren't meaningless like a lot of the apps I've seen. They actually add to your play style depending on how you feel each level can be approached. It isn't free, but I really enjoyed it. Hopefully you will too!

Nice try salesman! Ej, jeg skal nok prøve din app. Ser sådan set meget fint ud. Konceptet er vist ikke nyt, men det ser ud til at være meget fint pakket ind. Hvis andre skulle få lyst til at kigge:

Sort Me! The Game PlayStore
Sort Me! is a casual game where your objective is to put the number in order from lowest on the top to the highest on the bottom. Changing positions is allowed only with neighbour cells.
It was released 2 days ago and is on the bug fixing and user acquisition phase - feedback would be great on bugs and/or how to improve it =)
